My first short films were portraits commissioned by the ZieZo foundation, about hearing-impaired people (Sorry, wat zeg je?, ‘Sorry, what did you say?’, 2007) and autistic children (Sterke kanten, ‘Strength’, 2014). I eventually started making short films on topics other than disabled people. Since 2003 I and my family have had a second home in the north of France, and I regularly make short films there about local events (see all the Mon village (‘My village’) films.
